                  Task1:

                     1、Have the Ss revise months and ordinl numbers in groups.

                     T: There're twelve months in our class. Please introduce

                  yourself to everyone .

                    Ss:Group1:We are January /……December

                    S1:we're the first/second/third/…… twelfth month.。

                    (先把班级分成12小组为12个月份。每个组先站起来汇报到本组的名称及排列位置(既复习了序数词又复习12月份)。

                    Then write down the months on the Bb.and show a date to Ss.

                     T:What's the date today ? Ss: It's December12th.

                    2、Get the Ss to ask and answer in order to revise birthday".

                     T:When is your birthday? Ss: My birthday is ×××

                     T:How old are you? Ss: I'm fourteen.

                     T:When is Ann's birthday? Ss: Sorry, I don't know

                    S2(To Ann)Excuse me ,when is your birthday?

                    S1:My birthday is××× S2(ToT)Her birthday's×××

                     Then have the Ss work in pairs like this dialogue.

                    (让学生四人一组进行小组活动,互相询问同伴的生日。做好小组记录,把

                  记录的结果填入表格,有利于学生强化对英文月份名称和英文日期的记忆)

                    目的让学生将所学的知识在实际交流中熟练运用。学生学会谈论自己所喜爱的日子,并能简单说明的原因。

                     Which day do you like best ? I like September 10th

                     It's Teachers' Day

                    I like×××.We have a basketball game in December
