Have a free talk with students before class in order to make them relaxed. And tell them my favourite animals.
Show some various kinds of dinosaur pictures with some funny actions. They will interest the students.
Ask the students to say something about dinosaurs.
1.Give them task.one
2.Task two: show the other exercises on the screen.
Before listening, ask the following questions.
When and where did dinosaurs live? Were they very big? Could they fly?
Show the pictures and ask questions “What was the mother dinosaur doing?“, “Are you afraid of them?“.
Ask them to read.
Why did all the dinosaurs die suddenly?
Show the picture of volcano. What did they leave to us?
Show dinosaur pictures.

When the students see the pictures, they may call out to name the dinosaur.

Ask the Ss to read aloud.

1. The students have learned English for over one year. They can describe animals in their own words, but it is too difficult for them to describe what happened in the past. I should give another good sample for the students to write about another animal. I will add a research work
